Established as a fashion department over 50years ago, BA Hons in Fashion Design is a leading programme within the UK and globally. In 2019 selected by BoF, Business of Fashion as one of top 5 fashion courses within the UK and in the top 22 courses internationally, our programmes reflect contemporary practice of the fashion industry, with individual creativity at its core. 

Students are encouraged to explore their individual talents through application of the professional design process, from original concept to final product. Our courses are designed to offer the essential skills required to succeed in this fast paced, dynamic industry both within the UK and Internationally.

We aspires to create flexible, resourceful and creative fashion practitioners with well-developed transferable and interpersonal skills. Through a range of inspiring and challenging projects, students will become multi-skilled, independent and professional in an environment where personal talent and individual development are nurtured.

Students have the opportunity to undertake a internship during their 2nd year of study, and past have worked at brands such as Alexander McQueen, Adam Lippes, Christopher Kane, Iris van Herpen, Jonathan Saunders, Markus Lupfer, Aitor Throup, Anna Sui, Vera Wang, Viktor & Rolf, H&M, Simone Rocha and many other leading fashion labels in the UK and internationally.
