In a short interview, Ellie Tait-Smith tells us about her time at University of Salford and how she's grown as a designer...
University of Salford: Please tell us about your experience at the University of Salford?
Ellie Tait-Smith: My experience at the University of Salford has been eventful, I feel within this course I have grown not only as a Designer but also as a person.
UOS: How has your final year been?
ETS: My final year has been stressful as any other course would be; but it has been worth it, I definitely feel like I have found my direction as a Designer.
UOS: Have your ambitions been realized?
ETS: Yes! sometimes I have to pinch myself, I didn’t think I would get to where I am now and what I’ve achieved when I started the course.
UOS: Where did you do your internship and how was this experience?
ETS: I chose to do two internships; Timo Welland in New York and Trager Delaney; I feel like by doing two internships I experienced different aspects of the fashion industry, I learned so much within each internship.
UOS: What are you plans after graduation?
ETS: After graduation I am going to be moving to Italy where I will be working at Max Mara. I can’t wait to begin my career ...
